The cars are OFF THE TRACK!
Saturday, June 1st, it’s Dave’s Race Car Saturday! Show your support for one of the nation’s greatest dirt tracks, “Fairbury American Legion Speedway” and attend a Meet and Greet in Dave’s east parking lot from 1 to 3 p.m.
It’s a day of family fun, where you can meet the drivers and check out their cars up close, get autographs and racing memorabilia!
While you are at Dave’s Race Car Saturday – have lunch. You can enjoy a delicious grilled pork burger sandwich and a bottle of water for only $3.
At 3pm, the excitement builds with engines revving – you can actually feel the rumble as the race cars line up and parade down 3rd street back to the track.
We still have more cars in Fairbury! After Dave’s Race Car Saturday, take a walk over to Locust Street and check out custom hot rods, muscle cars, high-end restorations, vintage, and pretty much anything on wheels at 2nd Annual High Octane Show & Shine.
Now, let’s go to the races! DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Stock Cars, Hobby Mods, Vintage Racing of Illinois Alkota “Keep it Clean” Series at the speedway and it’s FALS Appreciation Night with races FREE to everyone!
