Fresh air, warm sunshine, fluffy eggs, flakey biscuits smothered in creamy gravy with cold milk, juice, and hot coffee – the perfect recipe for Breakfast on the Farm!
On Saturday morning, June 8th, from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, you can enjoy the breakfast, hosted by the Kilgus Family Farmstead and sponsored by the Livingston Country Farm Bureau Young Leaders for only $1.00! Plus, there will be fun activities for kids, a Q&A with Meet a Farmer, and a free farm tour of the Kilgus on-farm Creamery and 160 registered Jersey milking cows.
The Kilgus Country Store will be open with all kinds of locally produced products from meat, cheese, and eggs to soaps, honey and more. As well as a “serve yourself” delicious homemade soft-serve ice cream cone!
Breakfast on the Farm is under a tent for rain or shine and all the proceeds go to the Livingston Country Food Pantry. Enjoy good food for a good cause!
Kilgus Farmstead – take Fairbury’s First Street south from the stop light on Route 24, about a mile, you’ll see the farm and the tent. Turn in and enjoy!
