Dave’s Supermarket has become renown for being exactly that – a Supermarket. It has expanded from its basic beginning as just a grocery store to what is now a half a city block’s worth of customer oriented supplies that cover virtually every aspect of household requirements. They have also inundated this consumable arrangement of total variety with a supporting cast of services that includes a bakery, a deli, public bulletin boards, an ATM machine, beverage amenities, and a dry cleaning collection point and it is all concluded with an effective carry out service that delivers your purchases right from the check out counter to your vehicle.
The Dave’s staff provides a friendly atmosphere that is receptive to your requests and questions, and they have proven exceptionally helpful in all aspects of customer accommodation. Throughout the course of their business year they engineer multiple opportunities for savings through their check-out register coupons, their mailings that are a months worth of weekly specials, and their meat sales as well as their special item presentations that represent reduced pricing. When you collectively look at these attributes one would think that their customer appreciation is well provided for, but Dave’s is taking that consideration to a higher level – they have implemented an annual “Customer Appreciation” day and the festivities are focused on bringing food and fun to the party at prices that were only real a lot further back than what most of us even go.
This event is set to take place on Tuesday, June 10th from 10:30am to 1:30pm. It is appropriately entitled “Pig-Out on 3rd Street” because the “pig” will indeed be out in the form of their in-house prepared pork BBQ sandwiches AND this gives us all the encouragement to “pig-out” on their wonderful food. The music will be performed by the popular band, Highway 24, who will be set-up in the east parking lot. Of course, this performance depends on the weather so here’s hoping that Mother Nature cooperates.
