Annual Community Sale

Do you like to browse for items of interest, do you have an adventurous energy for searching for antiques, do you like to inspect a multitude of items that might yield something you actually need? If any or all of these action plans apply or appeal to you then you need to come to the annual ceremony that Fairbury has which brings these multiple opportunities to life.

The Fairbury Community Sale will be taking place his Saturday, May 3rd, starting at 10:00AM. This assortment of community supplied inventories will be arranged along the corridor of Fairbury’s main street (Locust St.) stretching from Second Street east to probably Forth Street (maybe further) & will feature pretty much anything you can think of. Items for the house, the yard, the garage, the tool shed, the vehicles, the – well you get the idea! There will probably even be some live things that go cluck , quack, or maybe just wrinkle their nose and flip their long pointy ears.

So dust off your sense of adventure & shift your mind into bargain mode & come join the hunt for that elusive treasure or that one thing (or several) that you could really use – those things, and more will all be there for the taking at the good ol’ Fairbury Community Sale. There will be multiple teams of auctioneers working the length of the arrangement & you’ll need to stop in at the Walton Centre (Corner of Locust St. & 3rd St.) to register & get your number & then you’ll be good to go. There will also be special concession stands with a variety of goodies as well as the local businesses that will be open & serving up their own specialties. Get on out there because those things that will take your fancy aren’t going to come to you – go find them and make yourself happy! See you there.
