Indian Creek Country Club-3/14

Cash – as in Money, Moolah, a different meaning to “going green” – how about an event that requires an investment but, offers amenities to the tune of a dinner that includes beer and wine at no extra cost, a live band to perform for listeners and those who like to dance, and an atmosphere of excitement that gives the investors a one in ten chance of winning part of the prize pool – ? Well, here you go – Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury is having their annual fund raiser that comes to the public via their Cash Bash event. On Saturday, March 14th, they have dinner from 6:00pm to 8:30pm that features pulled pork or Italian beef, with accompanying side dishes and, in addition to their extensive array of non-alcoholic drinks they are also offering beer and wine as part of the dinner time window venue. The bars upstairs and downstairs will be in full operation as well if you would like to have a libation of a heavier caliber. At 8:30 they have the “Outbound Drive”, a live band, that will begin their musical performance for the listening and dancing enjoyment of those in attendance and that phase of the evenings entertainment will extend to closing time.  Intertwined throughout this program will be a draw down using the other half of the tickets purchased to identify the prize winners for the evening which will conclude with a first prize of $4,000 and a second prize of $1,000 – not too shabby for an evening of fun, dining and entertainment and it certainly beats the odds of any lotto game available. The cost is $100 per ticket but, that ticket is good for two people in regards to the dinner and dance as well as one entry into the draw down so, come on out and have some fun and enjoy the anticipation as they pull the winning tickets out of the container and, who knows, you might just go home a little richer in the wallet for having done so. If circumstances, or personal preference, intervene the rule is that you don’t have to be present to win – you will be notified if your absentee luck is in attendance.

The Country Club is located about a mile south of Route 24 on Seventh Street and there’s plenty of room for everyone, a huge banquet hall with bar and kitchen upstairs and a very comfortable bar and kitchen downstairs with a friendly staff that’s just waiting to make your evening a good one. For more details on ticket availability, etc., you can stop by or, give them a call at 815-692-2655 – go on, it’ll be a good way to break up the cabin fever that this crazy winter has put onto all of us.
