Join the fun, enjoy the spring weather, grab a bite to eat and bid on bargains at the Fairbury Community Sale on Saturday, May 4th, starting at 10am.
From chickens, rabbits, trees, bicycles, lawnmowers, antiques, tools, to even a kitchen sink – there is something for everyone at the Community Sale!
The action is fast with multiple teams of auctioneers working Locust Street, stretching from Second Street to possibly Forth Street. First, you’ll need to stop in at the Old City Hall to register and to get your number. After that you’ll be good to go.
All your bargain hunting will work up an appetite. Take a break between 11a -2p and join your friends for lunch. The Fairbury Firewives are making pork chop sandwiches, brats and hot dogs, along with chips and a drink at Central Park.
This is the 68th Community Sale in Fairbury and promises to be just as unique and exciting as past sales. The sale is rain or shine so take a look at the forecast before you head out. Also, Fairbury checks only will be accepted; debit/credit cards and cash are accepted.
