FAIRBURY, IL – Our local “Queen of Cuisine” is putting on another dinner event that is bound to tweak the interest of anyone with an adventurist appetite as well as those who just enjoy a good robust meal. Sally Goembel and her Lost In Time Restaurant Team will be having a Hog Roast and Wild Game Feed on Saturday, November 7th, that will run from 5pm to 8:30pm. Well known for their special Saturday Night Dinners, Lost in Time has a great reputation for creative menus, well prepared food, and an effecient and friendly staff and this special dinner is just one of many that have proven to be quite a success. This one will be held in their alternate location in the old Weber Plumbing building just down the street from the restaurant, at 208 East Locust Street.
Here’s what the menu is made up of: Roasted Hog, Two Wild Game Entrees, Salad, Dinner Roll, two Side Dishes, Desert, and Beverage (non-alcoholic). You need a ticket and they can be purchased at the restaurant (on the northeast corner of Locust and Fourth Streets) at a cost of $25 per ticket. The hog is coming from Twin Oak Meats (well known for their quality) and will be prepared by Lost in Time and Jon Freed from Vermillion Valley Meats, so its going to be good!
Come on up and have yourself a great full course dinner where you’ve got a choice in a change from what most of us consider the same old thing in our daily meals, enjoy the music and relax while the staff of Lost in Time takes care of you. If you have questions, give them a call at 815-692-2100 – it would be a nice Saturday Date Night don’t you think?
