“Grandma’s House” at Echoes Museum

Relive the warmth and joy of being at“Grandma’s House” when you step back in time at Fairbury Echoes Museum.

“Grandma’s House” is the new exhibit at Fairbury Echoes Museum and features items that will spark memories from your own Grandma’s house. There are kitchen items, clothing  (including some of Granny’s “unmentionables!”), 19th century tablecloths, a 1920s toaster, washboard,  a stereoscope with stereo views, the frame for a hoop skirt, bonnets, a carpet bag, and more.

Also at the museum – a limited history of the Brewer, Churchill, and Hartley houses in Fairbury.

Fairbury Echoes Museum is open on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.  There is no admission charge to take a step back in time.

Please note:

The current exhibit, Grandma’s House, was originally scheduled to run through February but will be extended due to the two month shutdown. Come check out this one-room exhibit plus the four other rooms of permanent displays
