FAIRBURY CHRISTMAS PARADE
Everyone loves a Parade and, at this time of year, we’ve got the ever popular Fairbury Christmas Parade. It’s going to step off at 11:30 Saturday morning, December 2nd, in downtown Fairbury and it will have all those things that spectators, especially the kids, always enjoy watching as it passes in review. There’s decorated vehicles, fire engines, local celebrities including Ms. Merry Christmas & Mr. Jack Frost, horses, and all the things that bring the holiday season front and center. Of course no Christmas Parade would be complete without a visit from Santa and he is taking time out from his busy schedule to give the parade an extra boost and, he will be setting up shop at the VFW this year so the kids can say “hello” and tell him what they’d like to get on Christmas morning.
Fairbury’s business section will be bustling with special activities from sidewalk sales to in store specials and free horse and buggy rides. Plenty of places to grab a bite of lunch or a snack as well as lots of shopping opportunities from the Indian Creek Market to the Specialty Shops and more. Come on up with your family and friends and enjoy a Saturday that’s geared for fun.
