2/13-Valentine’s Dinner

Hey Guys (and you too, Ladies) – the month of February is upon us and down there, about midway through, there is the 14th – that one day at the beginning of each year that is designated to show that special person in your life an appreciation through the arts and hearts of Valentine’s Day.  There’s always cards and flowers and candy and “stuff” but, how about an elegant dinner that has an assortment of specially prepared entrees along with an appetizer for two, lettuce salad, bread basket, and a choice of dessert?

The Lost in Time Restaurant Team, headed by Sally, the Queen of Cuisine, has exactly that on Saturday, February 13th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and its a point maker just waiting to happen for you!  Check these entrees out – New Your Strip with Buttered Scallops or Crusted Blue Cheese or Glazed Salmon or Caprese Stuffed Chicken Breast over a bed of Asparagus and each is served with Spiced Corn and your choice of Baked Potato or Sweet Potato.

The appetizer for two that precedes your entree is a combination of Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Fruit Bruschetta followed by the Lettuce Salad with your choice of dressing and the Bread Basket.  Then comes the Dessert – each of you chooses from a Creme Brule, Buster Bar Dessert, or Chocolate Brownie Bowl with Homemade Ice Cream and Strawberries.

There’s a four course meal that should really get the job done for you so bring your other half on up to Lost in Time at 200 East Locust Street (corner of Fourth and Locust) in Fairbury and enjoy a meal for the deal.  Each meal is in the $30 to $35 range and Sally has a reputation for these events that keeps us coming back and, on this occasion, it’s a great way to say “Happy Valentine’s Day”.

Reservations are suggested – 815-692-2100
