The business on the bubble, for the Chamber of Commerce’s on going selection of member’s locations for Open House sponsorship, is Busey Bank.
Their Open House event will take place this Monday, May 19th from 5pm to 7pm and will feature refreshments, a door prize and a 50 – 50 raffle where 50% of the proceeds taken in go to the winner and the other 50% goes to the working funds for the Chamber’s operational requirements.
This affair is open to the public at the bank’s location at 115 N. 3rd Street (two thirds of a block north of Main/Locust Street), and you can just walk in and take a look at this reputable financial institution while doing some nibbling and sipping with one hand and crossing the fingers on the other in anticipation of the drawings.
Nice opportunity to get an intricate look at how banks work from the inside out and support your local Chamber of Commerce in the process because they are continually working to support you throughout the business community. So take an interest, show the interest and see where money makes interest – your presence is welcome.
