Accurate Soil Testing

GMS Laboratories, Inc. takes pride in its quality control programs. To guarantee accurate results, internal quality is maintained by checking soil and chemical standards after every tenth unknown sample and by retesting no less than 4% of all unknown samples.

GMS is a member of the Illinois Soil Testing Association, participating in all its accreditation and split sample programs. Its uniquely trained staff uses only testing methods that are recognized and approved by University of Illinois and the North Central Regional Soil Testing Committee.

Grid Pattern Sampling

An accurate soil test is only as good as the sample taken. Therefore, GMS’s field crew use ATVs equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and maintains the highest quality sampling procedures.
