From buying to selling and reconnecting with our neighbors– there is something for everyone during the All Town Garage Sale sponsored by GFWC Illinois Fairbury Women’s Club.

Whether you collect dishes, antiques, tools, toys, or just looking to save money on clothes and household goods, chances are you can find what you want by shopping our neighborhood during the Fairbury All-Town Summer Garage Sale.

Treasure hunting

• Know where to go – pick up a “treasure map” at Dave’s Supermarket, Bank of Pontiac, Casey’s, DQ, Dos Fuentes, Indian Creek Realty, Heart’s Desire, and Once ‘n Again. 
• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes – you’re going to be walking, bending, lifting, and hauling.
• Bring the truck – bicycles, mowers, and armoires are difficult to squeeze into a car trunk!

Treasure selling

• List your sale – some shoppers like to plan their route in advance. Put your sale on the “treasure map!”
• Have change – get some one dollar bills, a roll of quarters, and a handful of dimes and nickels.
• Get rid of the things you don’t need – make money and space for things you want you want!

Send name on sale, address of sale, days of sale, phone number if any questions and $10 and list 10 items. Over 10 items is $1 per item.  Profits go to a general fund to help with local projects and to meet budget.
