The New Year may find you wishing for a new home or improving the one you have. Find ideas and resources at the Food.Family.Farm.Expo. Saturday, 26th from 10 to 2, the Expo is at Central Illinois Connection Center|American Legion|Bluebird Hall – all in downtown Chatsworth.
Food. Family. Farm. Expo. features local professionals for your home, plus agriculture products and services. Here is your chance to try new foods too! Area food establishments will offer samples of delicious treats. Just for kids – a Play-Doh Station, wood etching, a puppet show by children and more!
The Friends of the Dominy Library “Bees, Beekeeping, and Pollination” presentation will have you ready for warmer days. This is a free event and fun for all ages and is Saturday, (tba) at 2pm at the library. Refreshments will be served and you could BEE a winner of a “sweet” door prize!
Fairbury Echoes Museum is open with their winter schedule through February, on Saturdays from 9:00 to 11:30. The current exhibit focuses on Fairbury from 1860 to 1899 and features a pictorial comparison between Fairbury IL and Fairbury NE.
If the New Year includes a trip down the aisle, a visit to the 2019 Bridal Show at Walton Centre will put you in touch with wedding professionals and vendors. The show is Saturday, January 26th noon – 3pm.
