“The Beat Goes On…Music through the Ages” and fun for all ages at the 142st Annual Fairbury Fair – this week!
There is lot in store for everyone at this year’s fair with competitions, demonstrations, displays, music, and racing.
On the Midway is Luehr’s Ideal Rides with Crazy Buses, Bumper Cars and Spinning Rollercoasters! Also Kidbucks Game Show, Bear Hollow Wood Carvers, Knockerball Max, A Zoo to You, Pony Rides plus a Dunk Tank!
At the Floral Hall find, textiles, apparel, floral displays, photography, fine art, fresh & canned fruits and vegetables, cakes and cookies and more!
Plus rabbit, pigeons, poultry and Sheep, Goats, Cattle and Swine shows, a 5 K run, Demolition Derby, Chili Cook-off, Baggo, Antique Tractor display and parade, racing and a Rooster Crowing Contest!
It wouldn’t be a fair without cotton candy and corndogs! Luehrs Ideal Rides will have four stands featuring fair food favorites. The FALS Dirt Track Diner is serving your favorite grill and fryer foods, ice cream and drinks. Pizzas by Marchelloni will have their trailer at the Fairbury Fair serving slices of their famous pizza. Charity Home Rebekah Lodge #112 has breakfast till 11 am, after that the grill and fryers will be on for lunch and supper. All proceeds go to local and state charities.
