Fairbury’s own, Taste of the Orient – the China Kitchen’s Head Chef, Ziu-Ying Zheng (aka Wilson), is still coming up with those surprise/mystery buffet dishes that serve to further enhance an already delectable presentation of Mandarin cooking. It’s a new month in a New Year and come Wednesday, February 15th, you’ll have an additional choice on the buffet to over balance your plate with. The China Kitchen is continuing this monthly event that adds an interesting spin to the idea that “everybody loves a good mystery” and it gives their patrons an opportunity to experience an expanded menu that brings new and exciting Mandarin entree’s to the selection choices.
If you haven’t been already then you should try it, it’s a great alternative to the same old thing and there’s pretty much something for everyone. They have a great variety of things to choose from including a cold bar for sauces, salads, fruit and desserts, hot soups, and multiple entree items on their hot table so come and get it. You can dine in house or order your favorites for take out – in house dining is all you can eat and they have the popular drinks to go with it. They’re open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner so just walk in, sit down, place your drink order and then go fill up a plate and a bowl or two and, remember, Wednesday the 15th for that new surprise dish – try to show up hungry, you’ll be glad you did!
