FAIRBURY, IL – Stock Car Racing – hey all you Race Fans, now that the Fairbury Speedway has got the track heated up and racing season is running at full throttle here’s some more of the Saturday night “Thunder Dome” events. The June schedule features some special racing programs, the kind that provides incentives beyond the normal magnetic force of the sport, and all the more reason to bring the family and friends out for an evening of exciting entertainment. Here’s the June Saturday’s and their corresponding racing competitions:
June 4th – Fan Appreciation Night ($5 Gate) – Nostalgia Night, Racers Reunion & Vintage Racing of Il. – Regular night of racing plus Alkota race
June 11th – Regular night of racing for all classes – Rusty Allen Kids Dash for Cash and Alkota “Keep it Clean” Series race
June 18th – Pappy & Bob Allen Memorial LM Special/$2000 to win – KidModz – all other classes regular racing night
June 25th – UMP SUMMER NATIONALS for Late Models – $10,000 to win – this is a Big One and the field will be full
Also, DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationals with $1,500 win purse and $400 to win for Street Stocks (SP is off)
You’ve got a great quarter mile track, a facility that has expanded seating and restrooms along with all the great food and drink availability and plenty of racing energy to motivate the entertainment levels for everyone.
