PANCAKES! – have we got your attention? Yes, good ol’ pancakes, with butter and syrup and a side of sausage – it can be your breakfast, lunch, or brunch come Saturday, March 26th, from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. There’s also orange juice, coffee, and milk to make the meal complete. It’s the annual SELCAS Pancake & Sausage Breakfast prepared for you by a bunch of hard working folks that would be happy to fix you up a plate full and even refill it, if you’ve got the room. This combination of breakfast staples is one that most everyone enjoys and, it always tastes better when someone else is cooking and serving it so here’s your chance to indulge yourself – “come and get it!” The cost involves a voluntary donation and the proceeds will be used by SELCAS to help with the maintenance expenses of their facility and services. It will be held in the banquet hall at the Indian Creek Country Club out on the southeast corner of Fairbury about a mile south of Route 24 on Seventh Street.
This is the “Calvary”, the medical team that answers the area’s emergency calls for physical care and transport of victims and they have proven time and again to be an experienced and effective answer to emergency needs. So, come on out, have a great breakfast style meal and show these public rescue heroes some well deserved appreciation while making yourself happy in the process – it’s good eats, done up for a good cause, and brought to you by good people. Enjoy!
