DAIRY QUEEN – Blizzards – The Ice Cream Treat that’s fun to eat. Hey, all you DQ Blizzard Fans – need a reason to go and treat yourself to one of these cold concoctions, or, maybe you and someone else? Well, here you go. Fairbury’s Dairy Queen (as part of a nation-wide effort) has a special day here in July that gives you a very good reason to indulge in these summer heat beaters. Dairy Queen is once again sponsoring a program that is linked to the Children’s Hospital Network. Appropriately named “Miracle Treat Day” this nation-wide chain is donating the proceeds from every blizzard that it sells on Thursday, July 30th, to a local medical facility specifically for children in need of professional medical care.
Our local DQ will be sending their accumulated financial help to St. Francis Hospital and all they need is for you to come up and buy a blizzard on “Miracle Treat Day”. And, you can buy them for the whole family or group because there’s no limit and there’s no extra cost for you – how’s that for a program that gives you the opportunity to help with a great cause by simply enjoying an outstanding ice cream treat. Even if you’re not a continuous fan this would be the time to try one and who knows, you might just find a new way to cool off from the summer heat. They have every kind of blizzard you can imagine and then some so go on, help Dairy Queen to help those youngsters in need – be a part of something that makes a difference in a very good way. Thursday, July 30th, mark it down and, if you want to practice beforehand the DQ is always ready to make it happen for you!
