It starts Friday evening up on Main Street with a Street Dance that is programmed to entertain the whole family and launches this great patriotic celebration. On Saturday, the 4th, there is an Independence Day Parade that steps off at 2:00 in the afternoon that brings America’s Birthday to the forefront with a colorful and crowd pleasing arrangement of bands, floats, groups, and special participants that pave the way for a fireworks show that evening that brings all the harnessed wonder of gunpowder to life.
