FAIRBURY, IL – PANCAKES – have we got your attention. Yes, good ol’ pancakes with butter and syrup and a side of sausage and orange juice or coffee or milk – how about that for a Saturday morning breakfast or, if you wait long enough you can call it brunch or, even lunch. The annual SELCAS Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is on the docket and these hard working folks will be happy to fix you a plate full (and refill it if you’ve got room). This is a meal that just about everyone likes (some even love) and it always tastes better when someone else is doing the cooking and serving so here’s your chance to indulge yourself – “come and get it”!
Date: Saturday, April 4th
Time: 7:00am to 1:00pm
Place: Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury – a little over a mile south of Route 24 on Seventh Street (served upstairs in the banquet hall).
Cost – Voluntary Donation
Proceeds – used by SELCAS to purchase the things they need to bring their new facility (in the Brian Munz Memorial Building) up to speed.
This is the “Cavalry” that takes care of us when we really need someone to get it done so come on out, have a great breakfast style meal and show these public rescue heroes some well deserved appreciation while making yourself happy in the process – bring your family, bring your friends, bring your employees – it’ll be a good meal, done up for a good cause and brought to you by good people. Enjoy!
