FAIRBURY, IL – SPRING – anything with that word in it is bound to get our attention right about now so, let’s try it. How about the Spring Open House for the Specialty Shops Group of Fairbury – here is a coordinated event that is designed to present the new merchandise and programs that these innovative folks have come up with for the new year that is now unfolding. It’s their combined way of putting a bit of fun into the unveiling of their new lines (some are old lines with new ideas) for all of us, giving it a special day and giving us the emotional boost of seeing it as a “spring time” theme. After a long hard winter, which hasn’t shown any signs of going away yet, this serves as a reminder that, it will. The presentation that the Specialty Shops have put in place will define their 2015 launch of their respective specialties and give their customers a great opportunity to see them up close with some shopping excitement amenities put in place to help inspire your visit. Come on out and travel the circuit, see what’s there and see what fits your venue of requirements for needs and wants – the ideas are endless and, the snow and cold temperatures may still be lingering but, spring is in the air, especially the air inside these friendly confines of the Specialty Shops of Fairbury. Each one will have their own support programs going on that includes extended hours of operation, samples, discount drawings and availabilities, specials, and an overall atmosphere of fun and excitement. Give them a look see, find out what’s new for the year in motion and have a good time doing it.
The event is on the calendar for Monday, March 16th and you can check the local social media (our friends with the local Bonanza network will be alerting you) as well as the advertising at various businesses for each shops agenda or, just stop in at any of them and see what’s what. The Shops that are on the docket are, the Country Cupboard, Heart’s Desire Antiques & Accents, the Spotted Owl, Lost Art, Timeless Treats, Meyer’s Gifts & Services, Once ‘n Again, and Serendipity, with dining support from Dave’s Supermarket Deli, the Dairy Queen, Lost in Time, and McDonald’s Family Restaurant. Since this is a Monday our support cast is missing the good folks at Benchwarmers, the China Kitchen and Antiques & Uniques because they are dark on Monday’s but, don’t forget them – they’ll be there to help you out for the rest of the week. Get out from under that “cabin fever” and catch that breath of spring and the concept of better things to come – it’ll be fun!
