The public is invited to welcome Dr. Michael Jeffords and Susan L. Post who will be presenting the program focused on the various aspects of Illinois Butterflies.

“Both are retired scientists from the Illinois Natural History Survey who have spent most of the life exploring the landscapes of Illinois.   Their personas, stunning photography and knowledge will make for yet another engage program about the importance of butterflies in Illinois,” says Sara Hostetter, Steward of the Woods.

Drawing from their new book, A Field Guide to Illinois Butterflies, they will expand their presentation to address the crucial role of pollinators in the home garden habitat. These field guides will be available for purchase.
