Spring! Yes, spring is coming! Do you enjoy watching flowers grow? Do you like helping the environment? Do both at the Central Illinois Connection Center this week to celebrate Plant a Flower Day (March 12) and Tin Can Month! Paint and personalize a tin can and turn it into your very own eco-friendly flower pot. Get your hands dirty and plant a few seeds. Over the next few months, you get to watch your seed sprout and grow into a beautiful plant. The Connection Center is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, or come to the Family Fun Hour starting at 4 pm on Wednesday to have some fun with the whole family!
We welcome all of your stories, ideas, and suggestions! Please send them in by calling (815) 692-4500 or emailing fairbury@fairburyILattractions.com. You can also visit Bobbi McKeon, coordinator of the Specialty shops of Fairbury, at Heart’s Desire on Route 24.
