Specialty Shops Holiday Open House

Get a big jump start on your Christmas shopping!  The Specialty Shops of Fairbury’s Holiday Open House is the perfect incentive as “the early bird gets the worm!”  Stores all across town will be open late until 8 pm on Monday, November 4th, for your shopping convenience.

‘Tis the season to start bringing out the holiday-themed goods.  Start jazzing up your house with Christmas décor, or gather supplies to create your own homemade decorations.  Browse through the wide variety of merchandise to brainstorm ideas for gifts.  This upcoming winter looks like it’s going to be a cold one, so now is the time to find some new winter clothing.  Also, clothes make for great Christmas presents!

“With the cold weather really setting in, it’s time to warm up your wardrobe and your home with clothes and décor from the Specialty Shops’ Holiday Open House.” says Bobbi McKeon, owner of Heart’s Desire.  “Get in the festive mood and get in some early Christmas shopping!”

Browse each shop and take a look at all the new items for the Holidays, participate in drawings, sample refreshments!  Participating shops include:  Spotted Owl, Heart’s Desire, Once ‘n Again, Lost Arts, Serendipity, Nature’s Design by Tiff, Fairbury Fastener & Supply, WC Market (inside Fairbury Furniture), and Dave’s Supermarket!   If you can’t find what you’re looking for at one store, you will most likely find it at one of the many other Specialty Shops.

Also, the Hoffman House/Sisters Inn (310 S 3rd St) will be open for tours and a wine bar that day, November 4th from 5-8pm!

Start your Holidays experiencing local shops and businesses!  Remember, shopping local equates to investing back into our local communities and making our area a better place to live, work and visit.
