The year is starting off with a bang! Lots of businesses from the local area will be participating in a big FOOD. FAMILY, FARM. EXPO on Saturday, January 12th in downtown Chatsworth.
Running from 10am to 2pm, this Expo will feature lots of local businesses, including dozens of samples to taste from over 15 restaurants and food establishments. Come taste samples from Fairbury’s: Catton’s Creamery, China Kitchen, Country Cupboard, Dave’s Supermarket, Heart’s Desire, Kilgus Farmstead, Lost in Time, Serendipity, plus the Chocolatier – Bloomington, Crossroads Café – Chenoa, Grand Prairie Station – Cabery, My Country Cupboard – Kempton, Old Log Cabin – Pontiac, Pizza Roma – Fisher, Slagel Meats – Forrest, and The Gathering – Gilman.
Are you looking to update your house or make it a home for your family? Also featured at the Expo will be home improvement and construction vendors and retail shops, plus local companies showcasing agriculture products and services.
Bring the family! There will be KIDS’ ACTIVITIES, including a proposed puppet show by some local children!
This Expo will be held across three locations in Downtown Chatsworth – The Central Illinois Connection Center, American Legion, and Bluebird Hall. There will be Food and Fun at each of these locations. Make sure you don’t miss visiting all THREE of them.
“Some of our specialty shops are planning to participate in this EXPO – sampling some of our food products!” says Bobbi McKeon of Heart’s Desire Antiques and Accents. “This should be an outstanding event. We hope you can attend and help support the many local businesses that will be there on Saturday.”
