If you have home, yard, or farm improvements on your to-do list, the 39th Annual FFA Farm and Home show is the place for you! With everything in one place, you can see all the latest makes and models of products as well as businesses that can get the job done for you.
On Saturday, February 23rd, from 10 am to 4 pm, come to the Prairie Central Upper Elementary in Forrest to see displays and exhibits of the latest in home improvement, remodeling, landscaping, agricultural products, and equipment.
Don’t miss this year’s new booths! The communities of Chatsworth, Chenoa and Forrest are each showcasing their communities. Learn about the special highlights of these towns and some of the exciting upcoming events!
The school’s gymnasium will be filled to the brim with over 50 local businesses displaying their goods and services. From construction to farming to services to retail, the Farm and Home Show offers everything you need and then some. This is a great time to ask questions, do a bit of research, and purchase services you might need. If that isn’t incentive enough, a restored antique tractor is on display, and you have a chance to win it!
The FFA team and the school’s cafeteria staff are working together to prepare a lunch for all show-goers. From 11 am to 2 pm, stop in to eat lunch or order a carry-out. You can choose between a pork burger and a pork chop lunch. Both are good choices, and they are served with cheesy potatoes, green beans and dessert with ice cream!
“This Saturday is a great opportunity to spend some time with friends and neighbors. Everyone will find something to do or see at the Farm and Home Show, and this is a great chance to get a close look at businesses in our own back yard. You won’t want to miss this event!” says Bobbi McKeon, owner of Heart’s Desire.
