The Super Shopping Weekend in Fairbury hosted by the Specialty Shops, brings folks to town on a winter day!
The shopping event was nicely complimented by a delicious breakfast! The International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) and Rebekah’s of Fairbury host their annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in the dining hall above Meyers Gifts and Services on the upper floor of the Lodge. Main Street of Fairbury will be lined with cars!
This event brings young and old in anticipation of a great breakfast of all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage! Plus, the bake sale by the Rebekah’s is another attraction and a great compliment to the breakfast.
Over the last couple years, IOOF has seen the addition of younger members, which in turn brings new ideas on how to make the organization improve.
The next breakfast is on the day of the community sale – first Saturday in May – from 7-11am.
Organizations like the IOOF and Rebekah’s do a lot of good for our community. We are thankful for events like these that help bring folks to town and then benefit families and children with the funds that are raised.
