6/3-Meet & Greet Race Drivers

DAVE’S SUPERMARKET – “MEET AND GREET” THE STOCK CARS & DRIVERS

Dave’s Supermarket is hosting a “Meet and Greet” for racing fans with the Fairbury Speedway’s Stock Car Drivers who will have their Stock Cars in the east parking lot on Saturday, June 3rd, from1 pm to 3 pm. If you want to get an “up close” look at these Thunder Machines and the Guys that pilot them here’s your chance. At 3:00 they’ll line them up and pass in “parade review” for the spectators before heading on out to the American Legion Speedway at the Fairgrounds for the evenings racing program. It’s Fan Appreciation at the track so the excitement for all the fans will continue right on through the racing program.

Dave’s will be serving a “hot sandwich” lunch for the event and “The Bull” radio station will be there to MC the event. Bring the kids, say “hello”, and meet the men and race cars that help to make it happen in one of the most popular sports around.

Dave’s continues to demonstrate to their customers why they’re known for putting the “Super” in Supermarket. This family owned and run business has been doing it since 1950 and they make shopping for groceries and homewares as comfortable and convenient as it can get. Large spacious aisles, a huge array of products and merchandise, the 3rd Street Deli, the Deli itself, the Bakery, the Meat Department, the Wine Section, the Produce Department, and a Customer Service that is one of the best. They’re open Monday through Saturday every week from 7 am to 9 pm and they always have something happening in the way of specials and sales that adds some generous savings to the experience.
