Fairbury’s Dairy Queen (as part of a nation-wide effort) has a special day here in July that gives you a very good reason to indulge in these summer heat beaters. Dairy Queen is once again sponsoring a program that is linked to the Children’s Hospital Network. Appropriately named “Miracle Treat Day” this nation-wide chain is donating the proceeds from every blizzard that it sells on Thursday, July 30th, to a local medical facility specifically for children in need of professional medical care.
